Quick! Hide the interns!

From today's Inside the Beltway column at washtimes.com

"It's a bachelor's life at the White House, especially in early August, when first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton and first daughter Chelsea will flee Washington for a month-long vacation in Martha's Vineyard, summer home to the liberal elite.

"President Clinton, we're sad to learn, will stay behind in Washington -- at least through August 15, when he'll head for the island for two weeks of golf, maybe joined by his usual Vineyard sidekick, Vernon E. Jordan Jr.

"The president is remaining in town, we're told, to host some fund-raisers for the Democratic National Committee. He'll also launch another of his traveling road shows on behalf of House and Senate candidates.

"Mr. Clinton then visits the Vineyard, where he'll play golf until Aug. 30 or so. Afterward, he jets to Moscow for a superpower summit. He also plans a two-day visit to Belfast, Northern Ireland, where his much-ballyhooed peace proposal has all but crumbled beneath the marching Orangemen."

More fundraisers! More indictments!
