The Altair Press Release also mentions that

" Altair may proceed independently with an engineering contractor or form an alliance with a large resource company."

Now, go back and look at the pre-feasability study and notice how many times in the independent study that the name Dupont is mentioned.

Keep in mind who has been successfully testing the jig at their Florida sands plant........... Dupont

My opinion is that Dupont will be the one that puts forth the capital for this venture. Keep in mind that this pre-feasability was performed for MRS, which is a division of Altair.

I would think that it is easier to annex off a division of a company in a joint venture while maintaining the parent company to license and market the jig for other applications.
