Hi Tom- That's my ignorance of non-tech markets showing... what? one size doesn't fit all?! :-) I've never tried to correlate volatility (which I presume to be synonymous with price stability) with AIM and need to do that. I've always seen volatility as the option traders friend and set it aside as not particularly significant to me on a LT basis. Time to re-think that. In fact, just pondering it now for the first time, it might be an even better measure for AIM-friendly stocks than beta... especially in a ranging market. Bruce
