<<<Long term investor? Do you really think there is one here?>>>

Am still here and long, HJ, cost basis around $11.50. Planning to sell at $300, or at half the all-time high, whichever comes first.

I have noticed an increase in the emotional content of postings lately. Cynicism, derogatory references to longs, anger at analysts who (like everybody else) are unable to predict the price movement, etc. There is no place in investing for personal emotions. I hope that anger does not impair anybody's investment performance.

Good luck to all, short and long,
Tom D

James,
Long term investor? Do you really think there is one here?

I think that as long as the Motley Fool keeps AMZN in its portfolio
(for any reason), and analysts like Benjamin at BARS maintain
a BUY rating even though the stock is trading at 2.5 times their
aggressive upside target, and there is positive press on Bezos (the
CEO, not the company's results - note), then some investors will
buy AMZN with a longer term outlook that they're riding the
internet wave.
