I just bought into CPQ at 32 1/4, saw that it was a great stock.. alas a little bit too late, should've bought earlier.

In any case, I agree with you that this is just the start for Compaq. Their longterm strategy is great, they're being given praise in the press. Plus, they have a consistent history of positive earnings surprises. I think that tomorrow's earnings forecast of 0 is going to be on the low end.

Might be, and don't get me wrong, I'm plenty long, but I would be surprised if we don't have a sell off today and general weakness in the market until after options expiry. Uncertainty of the earnings of both cpq and intc and option positions will be too much of a weight on upward momentum. If I am wrong, we will probably visit 37-38.
