I have learned through trial and error to completely ignore much of what the bears are saying. I read their postings in case they surprise me and provide an ATOM of valuable information - at times they do provide some value. But mostly it makes for good entertainment.

Take a lot of what they say with a grain of salt.

My prediction of the 13-15 breakout of late July may be in early to mid Aug - near the next Q earnings report.

I still see $18-$20 in Dec. Q4 earnings surprise, NDS on NT, and the success fruits of NW5 will all come together in the Nov-Dec timeframe to push NOVL's stock near or even of the $20.

Just my "holding strong" opinion on where it goes.

NOVELL: Novell's NRS 1.21 available for testing

JUL 14, 1998, M2 Communications - Novell, Inc. today announced the availability of beta for Novell Replication Services 1.21. Novell Replication Services 1.21 is a powerful replication application that allows network administrators to selectively replicate volumes, directories and files from one server to any number of other servers in the same Novell Directory Services (NDS) tree.
With NRS, remote locations can maximize the efficiency of slow WAN links to retrieve essential information. NRS delivers local access and a consistent view of corporate data to remote users spread across the entire enterprise network.

NRS 1.21 provides increased flexibility over earlier versions by allowing the NRS database to reside on Non-*Sys* volumes. System administrators can also now implement a protected master server which distributes consistent information to *read only* replicas throughout the network. In addition, NRS 1.21 offers *Global View* which is an NWAdmin snap-in utility that provides a graphical view of the entire NRS hierarchy.
