Pepper1..I have to spend some time looking at that one tonight. I did not have it as earnings play, because of the enormous amount of companies reporting the same week. (week of 20-24 and then week of 27-31).. I have my hands full with my own list, but I will look at CAT, as it's always been a favorite of mine.

One thing I would like you all to remember. Remember it was just 5 weeks or so ago when companies were reporting earnings shortfalls when I got a few e-mail saying: "Well perhaps because of Asian impact the 'earnings plays' will be softer this quarter." Not on your life! so far this has been one of the best quarters to date. There were no 'tankers' on the list at all. An occasional stock didn't make it to buy territory, but otherwise there were a preponderance of nice companies that provided good opportunities, as long as you steered clear of the sectors that had short falls and I did. We even had some nitechnology companies good for at at least a nice intraday trade coming in strong like VTSS, RMBS, NEON, TSK...etc. For the next few weeks concentrate on the plays and check the charts, there will be many more coming into play.
