Intel missed estimates. Looks like AMD and Cyrix/NSM is headed
into the single digits sooner!!

Stockmeister,

The fact these companies are taking business away from Intel might be
viewed as a positive.

INTC 4:01PM 80 11/16 -1 11/16 -2.05% 21,405,100
AMD 4:08PM 16 3/8 +15/16 +6.07% 2,961,100
NSM 4:00PM 13 1/8 +1/2 +3.96% 1,746,100

Sorry to rain on your parade.

Couldn't part of the INTC report be considered positive for AMD in the investment community? This part:

"The company said sales of its Pentium chipsets fell
during the quarter, along with unit shipments. The
company also admitted it lost market share in the
processor market, a plus for competitors Advanced
Micro Devices Inc. (AMD)"

-A short term AMD shareholder down $2 looking for ANYTHING positive,
