Kurlack was wrong on one account: Intel states revenue will be up in 2nd half; Kurlack predicted differently.

The press release does not state any charge for Q2, only 0.09 for Q1 for Chips. So factoring the charge out, eps was actually down sequentially from $1.01 to $0.66, a 35% decline, in operating earnings. And surprisingly, revenue in Europe was down. Doesn't look that great to me.

And the stock ran up a lot in the last week on optimism, an optimism also exhibited by Kumar when he raised earnings estimates quite recently. I bet he wished he hadn't done that!
