And just for good measure in case you do find one then tell me why Win3.1 was crap then the next product they released win95 which was a total disaster and now Win98 which is just a OSR dressed up like a new OS.

Here's a question for you: why were people lined up at midnight on the night on Win98's release to buy it? Why did it sell 1/2 million copies in the first week (retail). Why are all these people buying it?

Possible answers:
1) All these people are insane and don't know that other OS's exist.
2) These people are hoping Win98 fixes problems in Win95.
3) People really like Windows95 and want the new features of Windows98. It runs ths software they already own and supports all of the hardware they have spent money on for the last 5 years.

Just looking for opinions.

Tell me of any other company in the software business that has pulled this kind of crap and got away with it. The only way this could have happened is that MS has a monopoly and the general masses have never used a reliable OS so they keep on buying into this crap. The saying goes if you never had it you don't know what you are missing.

Let's see, name another company: Sun, IBM, Lotus, Netscape, Apple.

What point release of the MacOS are you running? What point release of UNIX? How many times did you have to reinstall OS/2? Which patch version of Notes are you on? How about Navigator?
