Notice how they said CURRENT design? Translate that to be a clear admission that K-7 will only be slightly faster than a 400mhz Xeon, and only on very carefully selected benchmarks to show the K7 at it's best and the Xeon at it's worst. It will not be competative with 500-600mhz Katmai/Tanner/Xeon/Coppermine, much less Willamette.
