George,

We would have to say, if we were to stay true to your arguments, that Emile has no more trouble seeing than you or I. Unless, of course, seeking is really having found.

Skipper

Hi George,
So Del doesn't like Buddhism because of being forced to eat sliced apples?! I guess I missed out on that conversation. I wouldn't like any religion that forced me to do anything. What were the consequences if he didn't eat them? Was the Buddha going to appear out of nowhere and start beating him with a stick? Del needs to learn that if the Buddha appears and beats him up, it's okay to hit back. In fact in this instance, it appears that the Buddha could use a sound thrashing! Of course, if the Buddha is bigger than Del, that might not be the wisest course of action. Then more skillful action would be necessary to avoid further pain.

You asked me why I entered this conversation on the Feelings thread. First of all, I've read a few of Christine's posts and liked them. After reading her posts, I knew I would be welcome here. And then I read a post by Grant saying that God thinks it is okay to kill those who bow to metal images. Since I feel threatened by that kind of thinking, I felt I had to respond so I could understand it better. Now I no longer feel threatened by Grant, in fact I feel I've developed a kind of rapport with him. As for some of my other posts, do not assume that all of my responses are only to the addressee. I'm sure there are many more lurkers on this thread than posters.

Regards,
Craig

George, I can only advise gently, and it seemed a GOOD THING for you to address cleaning up your physical environment, since you had already attracted roaches, who were, of course, free loading, and might become dependent upon you in an unhealthy way.

On the other hand, I noticed you were gone, and wondered if you drowned in your sink full of dirty dishes, or from too many martinis, or whatever it is which tickles your fancy, in an alcoholic way. Please do not go away on my account. Be true to yourself!!
