The big three Pharmas have all run up significantly in the last year. If there is any interest in Vivus as a buyout by one or all of the three an attractive deal could be structured on a stock basis. You can pick the multiple (PFE example 1 PFE for 5 VVUS)= $23.60 PFE Shares 1,305,631,000 Current Price 118 Current PE 62.7 JNJ Shares 1,344,665,000 Current Price 74 Current PE 29.94 MRK Shares 1,195,259,000 Current Price 137 Current PE 35.5 As you can see exchanging 31 million VVUS a some multiple would have virtually no effect on these companies financials and could yield a substantial return. Let's hope we see some action in the next two weeks. Good Luck
