AFCI jumped $4 yesterday on 11.6M shares (15 times average). I think it's shareholders' pipe dream (takeover) when the stock tumble, because that's the quickest way to repair the damage. Some of us had been there last year when ASND hit $25 and we were discussing the potential Lucent takeover. ASND will hit $90 in one year. In the last few quarters, CSCO just narrowly surpassed the estimates 1 or 2c and the stock still climbs 80% since Christmas. We use both Ascend and Cisco's switches, and I can tell you Ascend really really knows how to deliver the products and services the customer want.
