Pravin, re: "you should have gotten the K6-2". I bought a "K6-2 with 3D Now!" in a retail box. I thought K6/3D was a suitable abbreviation. Sorry for any confusion.

Pravin,
Is the K6 Classic's FPU that bad? I've read that the K6's have an FPU as good as Intel's but the software is written to Intel's PIPELINED FPU. Maybe AMD should stop with the instruction sets and just make a pipelined FPU? What do you think?
