I'm not sure "what" to make of that RFI report. I have "been" wondering, though, since MW, why SJ wouldn't have "unloaded" any news if he had it. How might "big news" have impacted the stock price if delivered at MW?

My "gut" tells me something is indeed up at Apple...something besides nice, healthy earnings. The question, however, is does Steve think any big news will have more force when delivered along with a great earnings report or at a conference filled with Apple faithful?

Has SJ's wife delivered yet...speaking of deliveries?

Good luck to all, and GO AAPL!

Mark

hugh sez: OK - Apple Recon pelagius.com has updated today (15th) Has some interesting insights re. announcements etc. from Apple. Anyone care to translate (botom line).

My guess is that Recon is suggesting that there will be some sort MM controlled backlash on the stock price if profits are even higher than currently expected. I would hope that they've all revised their positions since last quarter's prediciton from the CFO that this quarter would be relatively flat for returns, after all it's been weeks now that anyone who does their homework (Eric, Lou, and others) have predicted earnings surprises, but once again the MM seem loath to listen (much to our detriment).

My bottomline? I think we'll see little change after announcements...

M

Apple Recon's public posting dated today (7/15) is generally a bunch of happy horses**t. He's actually complaining that Apple deliberately set the earnings surprise up AS A SURPRISE!!! How whiney can he be?!
