A common standard for a low budget feature is 23 days of shooting.

Also, the fact that they started filming before the investment deal is complete must mean they have available cash on hand from other projects. It also means the deal is a lock, which we already pretty much knew, but now we know for certain.

They will be filming in fast motion photography.

I assume that the speed of filming is aided by use of natural occurring settings. The plot, from a filming viewpoint, does not appear complex. Some virtues of low budget production.
