It's the 15th - which is Mr. Master Of The Universe Knucklehead Smith 4 Million Shares Short In 60 Days Regardless Of Price Man's windowdressing date. Covering is taking place to conceal high levels of risky exposed short interest.

With that kind of logic, if all the trades were buys, you could say

"I guess nobody sold."

The way I see it is someone wanted to get rid of their position more than they wanted to hold on to it. There will always be a buyer for the right price. I also checked out AMAT and INTC and the top 10 trades were also sells. That tells me people are getting out. Besides, the largest buy was at or below 5,000...I guess the funds must be loading up.

The logic behind tracking the biggest trades, and whether they are buys or sells, is that the big trades are 'smart money' (e.g. Mutual Funds) or they are the partial sale of a holder so big that they will sell substantial shares tomorrow and tomorrow and ... and hence supply pressure one way or the other. Not defending the logic, just explaining it.
