I think I read somewhere that hey retained the rights to some 40 films. Which ones, I don't know. Either way, I think that the cable industry pays a one time charge for the rights to show a movie. I wish that weren't the case, I have see Segal and Van Dahm on the tube every night for a month. Either way I am sure that there are some royalties that they continue to receive from these films but not enough to really make a difference. Maybe a growing European and Asian market with new TV networks can add a couple of sheckles to our bottom line. I had lunch today with an executive at HBO. I had mentioned MVEE and G&G. His response was, " Boy, do those guys know how to make money" Evidently, this guy made a bundle on Cannon films. Lafike PS I think I had a bit more fun when there was a little fire on this thread. Is this a kinder, gentler MVEE thread.......?????

Where is all of the enthusiasm on this thread ? When things are going tough we need to do a little more research (DD) and keep this board alive . I have been trying to find out what is up with the production delay on the "Running Blade" with Segals son... Does anybody have info on this? My connection is working on it for me too and he's saying the only thing he has heard is character casting , true or not I don't know. Maybe Kintauro has cold feet , who knows , let's hope not. What was up with all the late shoppers yesterday and the few today? Are we waiting for some positive news releases? Anyhow lets pick up the enthusiasm and do some DD and fill all of us on your/our findings.....
