Alan,

>>Remember the days when we used to sing on this here thread???<<

Some are still singing, the blues......We're singing rock n' roll on the RMBS thread. I've been reading "The Gorilla Game" and there's a section in one of the chapters that describes a portion of market development as "The Chasm". I realize there are still some out there who think it's too early write RACE off completely, but one sentence in that section stands out......... "If the innovator cannot secure a market position for itself relatively quickly, it will die in the chasm."

It's a very interesting dynamic. The chasm being the opposition between the visionary (Ben) and the pragmatist. I say BT has fallen into the Chasm, but admit to the long shot that an outsider could pull it out. Good reading (careful, though, it.... uh, makes one think. bp
