"What I'm getting at is that there is one Supreme Being, call Him what you may, or Her, but the supreme being is all to all no matter what the Name. "

God is not some obscure being or nebulous entity! His name is Jesus Christ. I would say that he made a serious and significant effort to get our attention when he took on human flesh and became a man to live in our midst. It was a serious matter when he demonstrated his divinity by healing the sick, walking on water, changing water in wine and raiseing the dead.

He brought his fleshly soujourn among men to a conclusion by allowing the Jews to Crucify him for the sins mankind and then he was raised from the dead for our justification and righteouness. Wow.

That is not some obscure nebulous anybody but a very specific God man called Jesus Christ of Nazareth, a Jew from the tribe of Judah.

Just calling upon his name brings salvation and forgiveness of sin.

Hello Ish and all,

I'm sorry to those I wrote to privately, but I've got to speak at least once more!

Ish, you're backing up the theory of relative truth with your statements. You're saying that all paths lead to enlightenment. The problem with this is that you are claiming that no religions is absolutely true, especially Christianity. Now, you may be right that all truths are relative, but I don't see your evidence disproving all religions. You just claim that all religions lead to enlightenment.

I don't blame you. This thought is PREVALENT throughout society. It's being beaten into millions of college kids year after year. I'd just like you to prove that Jesus is not the Son of God and that Christianity is wrong before you go along saying that all religions lead to enlightenment. I'm not even making you prove that all religions are not absolutely true, just Christianity.

God bless,
