Oops, screwed up my math and deleted my post.

I had AAPL as earning $1.43 YTD and realized I was confusing earnings from operations.

Can someone post the real YTD from ops + 4Q analyst expectations?

Thanks in advance.

Richard,

I am very satisified with Q3's result although the revenue didn't
reach what I expect. Well, Q2 and Q3 are Apple's slowest two
quarters. The current Q4 sales will be obviously boosted by iMac's
high demand (400,000 units by September) and hence market share as
well as revenue will be dramatically increased. No any other pc
hardware companies did as good as Apple in the past two quarters.

I don't know how much Apple should be worth now probably until Japan
and Germany markets are open. It should be around $38, which is about
10% jump compared to the previous close price of $34 7/16.

Some shorts may get margin calls tomorrow to buy back certain shares.
However, I still believe there is a huge fight between shorts and
longs unless analysts start to upgrade Apple. I think one or two
institutions may start upgrading Apple as early as tomorrow since
there are 15 institutions with "hold" rating on Apple. This stunning
report will trigger them to take some action now rather than later.

With current $0.65 EPS, we will easily calculate that PE will be under
20 even the stock reaches $40. Isn't it amazing? Besides, analysts
may start looking sale/earning ratio to well justify its fair value.

Come on, all analysts, please show me your guts on this exceptional
result via taking some positive action now.

Phil
