7:58PM EDTI went in and bought alot of westell at 8 and three -eights. Westell is adressing a problem that IN OUR OPINION, WILL turnaround the stock IMMEDIATELY. Marketstrategist has stated that the problem with this company is that the communications line between insiders and analysts was extremely poor. We now have strong reasons to believe that the communications are improving and westell is getting out the good word about their business. Westell is upbeat about early shipments to telco's which cannot be mentioned at this time. What we can say is that revenues should easily beat the street's estimate. The conference call is the catalyst that sends westell to new highs. We believe that westell ramps up without any fear over further dilution and that insider sales transactions have dissapated. The stage is now set for westell to hit 25-30 share within 3 months.. Vendors that work with westell are pleasantly suprised with the service that the company can provide. Westell can and will deliver on their promises and the revenues will follow....THE PARTY HAS JUST BEGUN...YU SUCK LOSER AND ALL THE OTHER SHORT ARE IN FOR A BIG SUPRISE....DON'T GET CAUGHT WITH YOUR PANTS...I MEAN SHORTS DOWN

Dr Tech,

Your posts are priceless. Keep us in the loop.

However, that last article you referenced us to was zero. Sounds like an intern, who followed this thread solely for all of his/her info, wrote it.

Regardless, at this price level, the risk/return level is damn near too good to pass up.

First, computer stocks in the early '90's. Then, the I-net stocks, which are a product of the computer boom. At some point, the link that connects the two will skyrocket. Let's just hope ATHM et all aren't the big winners, huh....

I am new to WSTL and recently took position in it.

I have two side questions that someone can help me with.

1. I have seen acronym JPC used a lot. Can someone fill me in as what it stands for and how it relates to wstl. Some URLs will also do.

2. Is Penny family the same which used to own Wescom (telcom and switching products company) in Lemont and Oakbrook, Ill.? Names Wesom and Westell seem to rhyme. Wescom was never publicly traded but telecom division was sold to Andrew Corp and switching division to Rockwell. Clint Penny and Brown (owners) made a bundle on that deal.

Regards,

JK (i used to work in switching products division long ago)

Dr. Tech, good points, Im sure this isn't a laughing matter w/ many of the investors caught in @ higher prices. The long term focus is more of a critical point but the short term prices are also a critical issue for those trying to average down. Recent events w/ dmt chips delays adds credence to Wstl's game plan. I know Pair is advertising adsl & sdsl in one if not more of this weeks trade rags. Ive watched Pair beat up adsl over the last couple years & agree w/ your views here. Pair is a little late to the table & deliberately so. Im sure they are shooting for a fragmentation of the JPC also. I was also thinking we might see some dmt to cap converts if the Fcc does the right thing in a timely fashion. Remember Coms started w/ cap products also, given Csco & others strategy, again adds credence to Wstls game plan. If you will read some of the DMT vs CAP link I supplied last week you will see that WSTL has been line code agnostic for some time now which the street fails to see IMHO. Bottom line is that the RBOC's continue to delay & since this is the case WSLT is really in a position of strength for now as some cap is be deployed. Maybe these guys will wake up if WSTL lands a dmt contract. Intel is planing 1.2 gig chips in the not too distant future w/ 700 mhz by next year ? which was demonstrated in Hanover, Germany march of this year. Bandwidth will come & Im predicting a banner year for the stock market in the year 2000.

>>BEL & BT are looking like they made fantastic strategic ADSL planning...

Looks like they could have something else in common soon.

[Financial Times Thurs July 16, 1998]

British Telecommunications could announce an alliance with a US company by the end of the month, according to industry sources in London and New York...
An implication is that Bell Atlantic may be emerging as BT's preferred partner because most large US businesses have their headquarters on the north-eastern seaboard, its operating region. Bell Atlantic has direct connections to the majority of these customers but is not permitted at present to carry international traffic
