Hello Christine,

Busy day today for you, eh?

Grant, I am curious how you could say in a post that you believe God has the right to kill people off, and then end your post with "God Bless All?"

If God created all life, why would he want to destroy what he created?

Good questions. They're not easy to answer. This goes back to our propensity to sin. God established the order of the universe with a right and a wrong. Man made a choice to disobey his Creator by choosing the wrong. Imagine if you were God in this instance. You've just created these people out of nothing and all of a sudden they are rebelling against you (I'm betting you can use this analogy with your kids). What do you do? You obviously have to punish them (tough love) in order to teach them, right?

Well, God didn't start killing people for a while. He only killed people (I think at least) that were seriously rebelling against Him over and over again like by worshipping other gods. What are your choices if your child rebels over and over again and there's little you can do to control him? You then realize that he's influencing other children of yours to join him in whatever bad things he is doing. You probably aren't going to kill him because one child isn't as hard to control in the long run as a tribe of people in God's case. I feel like he gave them enough chances to right their ways and just did what was in the best interest in his Jewish "children" to protect them in the long run.

I hope that better explains things. I end the post as kind of like a little prayer for everyone that God would bless you all throughout the day. Should I stop?

God bless,

Grant
