The amount of stock available for sale is amazing even to me...almost 5 M shares traded in the last day and 1/4 and the price is at 23 13/16. In this euphoric market environment and after such a long basing period this type of volume should have moved the price significantly higher. A significant amount of the volume is institutional in nature but it seems to be going from one institution to another, rather than instituions accumulating the stock from smaller investors. Given the very low institutional holdings to begin with, this is very strange.

I have no conclusions to draw from this, but it is very strange and very frustrating that a breakout cannot occur under these conditions. That huge fab sitting there in a slow growth environment must be too much for these guys to handle.

Its over! Block selling all the way down to 23 1/2 now and looks like yet another test of 23 is imminent. Looks like Mr. Market is placing his bet on LSI not being able to fill that new fab anytime soon...why oh why didn't I buy txn instead?
