Hi Paul,

Well, the IHOP commercial with the paper boy reading the WSJ is back. It may just be coincidence, but every time they start showing that commercial, the fool market goes nuts, and every time they switch to the guy with the chickens, the bottom falls out.

I'm starting to think the only way to play the market is to load up on value funds when they show the paper boy and switch to bear X funds when they go to the chicken farmer. I don't know if they are selling any hot cakes, but the brokers must love them.

Regards,

Don

Ok, I'll post support for an opinion of mine.
Opinion:
1) Relatively slow sales of Netware 4.X until the release of Netware 5.
2) Netware 5 will have huge sales, with "Microsoft style" purchasing and excitement by many many companies.

Support for 1: Why buy Netware 4.X when Netware 5 is around the corner? That basic fact will slow down sales of Netware further.

Support for 2: Netware 3.X and 4.X is not Y2K compliant. NT 5 is delayed. There are now enough articles about NT5 being delayed and being buggy for people to start believing them. Thus, businesses will be forced to upgrade from Netware 3.x and 4.x, and have nowhere to go but Netware 5.
