Jim you are one of the most pessimistic guys I have ever come across. I hope you wife is an optimist, cause otherwise your new little girl is going to get an awfully sour life view. There was a poem -- I've forgotten the author and the exact words, but the lines are something like this (with lots of paraphrasing): bullets hurt, gas stinks, nooses pinch, might as well live.
