Carol: Regarding the SpaceRay

I am not sure that funds won't be required for further development of the Spiral craft on which SpaceRay is based. Spiral was abandoned after Brezhnev decided to axe it in favour of Buran, the Russian Space Shuttle and I am not sure how useful the Spiral craft would be as a launcher in its current form. The dimensions given for SpaceRay are much bigger than those of Spiral on which it is based.
There is currently a shortage of launcher capacity, hence all sorts of projects are being proposed including the use of SLBMs as mentioned on the Spacer link you kindly provided. I understand that there is a market but I am still concerned that PLFM doesn't have the resources to undertake development of a new launch system. Maybe they can generate some funds by acting as agent for existing Russian launchers such as Zenith but there is a lot of competition eg Sea Launch and Long March,

Regards
