Bill, I agree with you that it is extremely unlikely that Intel would exit the graphics market. Yes, they do have next generation chips on the way. But as we have seen in the past and I believe will continue is that Intel will not be very successful in this market. They are to slow to meet design cycles. By the time i740 reach the market it was basically obsolete. My concern with Intel is when Intel combines the CPU and graphics functions on one chip. I believe that is a ways off for a good performing product. (not the CPU & i740) I disagree with you regarding PSR's. Look at were 3DFX, ATI and even S3 were. Graphics is much more dynamic than DRAM. Look at the retail market for graphics, there is marketing of the different products. He who has the best technology at the key price point wins. Today it is ATI in the OEM and 3DFX in retail, tomorrow who knows. I am already seeing change in both area's. SKI what is happening to you guys, its tough to stay king of the hill. stockroach
