BigKNY3, your comparison of Viagra to Prozac is absurd.

The deaths from Prozac were all due to patients who had the illness termed "Endogenous Depression ". The suicide rate in this illness is high and well known. Also it takes 6 weeks of taking Prozac ( in adequate doses ) to prevent this suicidal ideation and suicides. Unfortunately some physicians are not aware of this, they prescribed Prozac and sent a suicidal patient home not realizing that Prozac would take 6 weeks to work. Some of these patients went home and committed suicide shortly thereafter. ( some didn't even take the pill as prescribed ).
The Church of Scientology tried to make a buck on this and they helped people sue ( I believe ), although many families sued on their own.
However expert medical opinion was unanimous and overwhelming in demonstrating that ALL antidepressants ( not just Prozac ) take 6 weeks to work and that suicides are frequent in this period. In fact suicides are a hallmark of Endogenous Depression. Case closed.
Viagra is a different ballgame. We have PFE which run a skewed study by by not reflecting in it's Phase III trial the true frequency of coronary artery disease ( CAD ), by admitting only 20 patients taking Nitro in their 4000 patient study, when in fact

75% OF ALL MEN
with organic impotence
DIE OF CAD/HEART ATTACKS

So now we have 31 deaths so far which is only the tip of the iceberg.

Your comparison of Viagra to Prozac is only a reflection of the profound ignorance that exists world wide of CAD, the No 1 killer in America.

And PFE has just invented a drug that will turn what used to be a fun act ( sex ) , into an unsupervised, open-ended - treadmill stress-test, in high risk people ( diabetics, arteriosclerotics, etc. ), resulting in a heart attack; It then proceeded to transform the No 1 immediate therapy for these heart attack victims , Nitroglycerin , into an instant killer .

Anthony, BigKNY3 and Thread: This appears to be a classic opportunist's frivolous lawsuit...I am not an attorney, but even a layman can see the huge flaws in this lawsuit....There are always plenty of shysters ready and willing to team up with a fellow like this whenever there are deep pockets to plunder...if they can..I am long for a considerable investment in PFE, and I will lose no sleep over this pathetic attempt at extortion...

Transcript of yesterday's Larry King Live, which focused quite a bit about Viagra during the first part of the program. Not terribly positive.
