I don't know but the trend of the stock since earnings is enough reason to not worry too much about it in my thinking. This is a fabulous company with massive earnings potential ahead of it. The stock price will only go higher and higher for a good while yet to come.

That's what we'd all like to know, along with the reason for all the shorts. Looking down a list of a third of the NASDAQ alphabet, the only company I could find with several week's worth of short shares outstanding (vis a vis the average daily volume) was Informix, which is half way understandable.

Even though I agree that the chart looks good, these facts are troublesome. Sounds like a call to the company is in order since we didn't get a response on the earlier post.
