Vitamins and nutritional supplements maker Rexall Sundown (Nasdaq:RXSD - news) slipped $4 7/16 to $31 7/8 after an analyst told the Wall Street Journal that he feels the company's shares are overvalued and it may be a short possibility.

3 days later the stock jumps 4 to gain back half that was lost during the shorting.

is this company really over valued or is there more upside?


Rexall Sundown, Inc. (RXSD), of Boca Raton, Florida, will become a component of the Nasdaq-100 Index(R), effective the beginning of trading Wednesday, February 11, 1997.

Rexall Sundown replaces American Greetings Corporation (Nasdaq:AGREA - news; AGREA), which is de-listing from The Nasdaq Stock MarketSM.

Rexall Sundown, with a market capitalization of approximately $2.5 billion, develops, markets, and sells vitamins, nutritional supplements, and consumer health products. The company offers approximately 1300 products to retailers, through its Rexall Showcase International direct sales force, and its SDV mail-order catalogue.
