NVAL...

Isaac:

What's happening here is the short term sacrifice vs long term gain...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"The companies noted that, on a near-term basis, the transaction is expected to dilute 1998 earnings by between $0.08 and $0.10 per share but that, in the long term, the combined businesses will generate significant revenue and enhance earnings for shareholders."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This means to me that the next Qtr will probably be flat... So, traders are selling now to avoid the lower earnings news... Just another example of the short term mentality of this market... It ignores good decisions by Mgmt that will have a future payback... This looks like a good stock to start accumulating once the price settles and bases because the selling will have been done... The new eps estimates should have already been lowered... This sets up NVAL for a possible meeting or surprising against these new lower estimates... Then I think the stock should be back on track again...
