You have to love this play. The stock is about 36.5 and you can sell the Aug 40's for about $1.00.

Speaking of rumors, did any of the sites, including the message boards, ever hint at the coming of the iMac? One would think there would have been a leak for such a huge product. So much for the rumor mill.

Not that I'm ware of. Apparently Apple had different groups working on small pieces of the whole, so only a few knew what the big picture was. However, it's obvious that the iMac started out as the Mac NC and was changed mid-stream when costs for full blown PCs came down under $1000, and the NC no longer made sense. Perhaps the iMac was a contingent plan all along too. The Mac NC was a known product under development, and had been reported by many including more "reliable" sites like MacInTouch.
