Originally, AMD's business plan was to compete "head to head" with Intel's
top-of-the-line CPU's. Now you have stated that AMD is no longer "interested"
in that market. I tend to believe that AMD "blew" their one chance to
compete (4/2/97) and now have to compete against the likes of NSM, IDTI,
others ... at the low end home/game systems.

I have to agree here ... after all, Intel has sold 100+ million CPU's this
last year to these smart consumers. The stock market also has brains ... this
is why AMD is at a 52 week low.
