Terry, I think it's fair to call 17 months after the initial product launch with no significant sales (Ben's wording) a colossal commercial failure. Can something be salvaged? Of course. But time is not on the side of DataRace. Even if your correct in the assumption that "progress is being made" there is still significant technology risk, market risk, and financial risk. A more prudent stance would be not to buy until substantive sales are reported . But it takes money to make money, when a company falls on hard times such as DR and their market capitalization plummets they are forced to resort to most unfavorable financing arrangements (don't we know it)... Terry, contrary to what you may think, I have not lost substantial amounts of capital with DR. I sold the bulk of my shares last summer at "break-even". (Remember the Axelrod fiasco? I posted at the time there was absolutely no reason to wait out that "overhang") I can assure you though, I take no "solace" in that, remember, I also rode it up to $24. So even though I didn't take a loss, I don't like watching profits evaporate. I did take a loss on the shares I repurchased on the Inacom announcement, I think the stock was 8 or 9 at the time. I did that on the faulty assumption that the resellers could do what DR could not....sell their own product. I sold those shares last February, save 100, holding again on the faulty assumption that systems were being sold. Wrong! Excuse the long post, but I realize that the current activity in the stock may cause new investors to take a look at the thread and it would be a truly daunting task for anyone to review the +20K posts. (most of which in hindsite were complete nonsense) But really all anyone need do is look at the 2 year chart. There's your story. Whatever speculation or "news in the making" that could be driving the trading volume right now is anybody's guess. I wish DR luck, I hope they do pull it out, get bought, or whatever it will take to "enhance shareholder value". (cough, cough). I know that there are still plenty of them out there, feeling lots of pain. bp
