you have it backwards, it is 1 for 3. I suggest perhaps yo should sell into the market if you can't take it. Or hold if you think there is some value to the technology, patents, and equipment. Could this make it easier for a report to be written by CSFB or Volpe? I sugggest staying off the boards so as not to confuse yourself.

"Wow, a 3 for 1 reverse stock split. This will allow Osicom to float three times as
many shares and it doesn't have to ask shareholders for approval."

WRONG! Please read the press release next time. Authorized shares decreased by a third as well.

On the bright side, it will allow people to short the stock again as, hopefully, it will be above 5 dollars

Let's hope so, although a 3:1 reverse split may not be enough to lift the share price above $5: the stock is already down 13.40% on the news.

You must think that the maximum number of issuable shares will remain the same after the split. Well, you are mistaken. Below is an excerpt from the news release.

"Osicom said its common shares authorized for possible issuance will be reduced from 50,000,000 to 16,666,666."
