There are a few, but your right 95% of the time it spells death for a company. In April 1996 Data Dimensions (DDIM) did a 1 for 3 reverse split in conjunction with a secondary offering. It ran up quite high after that before coming back down.

If you really want to take credit for that you should have announced that you sold at 4 1/8. Then you would at least have some credibility for taking your own advice.
