Steve, As always thanks for your input. You may something there, the announcement might mask a deeper partnership. AMD has to at least be considering a partnership or sale. The announcement itself as worded in Inforworld would be too little too late for AMD. Unless I am mistaken moving to copper is a long term strategy requiring years and huge amounts of capital to implement, and AMD doesn't have the time or money, they have acute problems that need immediate attention. AMD creditors have placed stringent profitability requirements on the next few Qtr's, and it would be CEO malfeasance to just ignore them. But then again we are talking about Jerry, and he just might ignore them. Dale
