God, Four or Five business days before earnings. The stock is trending down and no volume to boot. Why did I buy this stock? oh I know, I'm gambling for a surprised earning report which I do not see forth coming in the days ahead with today's stock price action. If this does not go up Monday I will short it for the impending bad earning report. Joe the looossseerrrr!

Chris,

Adding SCSI for the I/O does make your system go faster. This is so since data - executables, files, swap and so on - can be moved to/from the disk faster and with less CPU intervention.

No, SCSI does not make your processor go faster. But then processor speed alone is not enough for a high performance system. You need the other key systems; i.e., memory and permanent storage and the connections between them all to match.

Thanks, Torben
