Your up late Jenna; what a way to spend Friday night? Are we obsessed or what! I'm looking over the day's action. Why am I here and not in bed with someone exciting is the question?

What do you make of the strong buy rec. on COMS; is that for real or what? Better quarters coming? This could well be the case. I talked to someone last week there and they are laying off everyone and cutting cutting cutting. I remember that they issued a positive rec. months ago that COMS was going to be hot for cable modems; yeah right! I think it was at $35 at the time, but I can't remember now. I do think if fell from there where ever it was.

The disk drive group is still screwed. Dead money there still. Networking has been dead. Telco dead; that only ran on takeover speculation anyhow. Looks like semi equip. heading down. Asia concerns seem headed to become Asia reality in the fall and reality will be worse than the concerns in some areas. Non-Asia will keep moving. Funny that Ascend hasn't taken a hit, they were supposed to have all this Asia exposure; so much for that; Ascend was in the 20's when that was talked about.

CUBE seems to be a great holding longterm if it falls down to 16 or 17; I'll buy some in my personal account for a play. The future is bright on that; watched the CNBC or that other channel with the guy from the company talking about how CUBE owns the video future; I think they do.

I just think it has been a weird market in the techs.

SDTI, DWRX

These seem like two fundamentally solid stocks that have been unfairly beaten down. What am I missing here? I know that both companies have released (or pre-announced) disappointing earnings, but to be priced where they are, disappointment or not, seems outrageous.

Technically, do either of them look good? What can I expect, short term and mid term, as a "floor" price and top line target price?

Regards,
Paul

(Just visited your website. Very good! The internet is truly amazing and will revolutionize anything and everything we do, some day. The trick, how to make money! As soon as someone figures out how, then a thousand others jump on board and do the same thing for less, therein causing it not be be a money maker any longer. You got an idea? Conceptually, let's hear it!)
