I'm not sure I have this right, but IBM has developed "light stamps" which permit the placing if single layer paterns on wafers without lithography tools. It would seem to me no negative implications for Cymer. Am I correct? Jay

No one has really addressed how Intel's move to .18 will affect Cymer's stock price in the short and mid term. If they upgrade their Microscan steppers by mid '99 when would they be ordering Cymer lasers ?
I would think someone from Cymer is speaking to Intel directly at this time given the steppers are already inplace and only need Cymer's lasers.
How do you see this situation playing out and affecting Cymi share value in the near and midterm ?
