marcos, I like you a lot.

You are literate, educated, you have an excellent sense of humor, and best of all, you start threads with one-word titles like "History" and "Reality". I hope you won't be offended if I try one myself. #subject-22105

There are so many stories, and so many versions, ¨Verdad?

Yes there are, and I believe that as more of the "small fish" are and will be able to write their own, it will be more interesting, and indeed rewarding to those who are capable of doing so.

It will also be very interesting to watch how the official version, of whatever event happens to be taking place, is affected and how it will be presented in a time, (ours, now and the future), when individuals will be capable to present what it could be a more honest version of the same event, and most importantly, with the same capability to distribute the story to the public.

That Zool¢gico sounds very interesting particularly with the weather in Chi pas, all the animals being in a more appropriate environment.

I am familiar with Proceso, it is a good magazine/newspaper, however, I now read it seldom, when I want to learn something in more detail about the Mexicas, and their pol¡ticos.... lately however, I have been more in tune to this thing they call investing.... Amazingly, it is less frustrating, and from time to time, one could say it is more entertaining....than the tribulations of every-day pol¡ticos. (imo all corrupt anyway).

The new "Mayor del D.F." has quite a task ahead of him, and if he can prove that he can build on positive actions, rather than simply antagonize the old guard with collectivist rhetoric, then who knows, the next time around he will try for president... (will succeed ?).

His father was a big Presidente (that made big time [oil] history), in this day and age of market politics, he must be careful not to revert to policies that will not benefit those he is attempting to help.

Who knows what the new history about to be written will be like.

Luis Echeverr¡a once said: (in reference to a recent devaluation, circa 1976 (or thereabouts)

The devaluation of the [Mexican] Peso neither helps nor hinders the country... it is all of the opposite of that.

"La devaluaci¢n del Peso, ni nos ayuda, ni nos afecta negativamente.... sino todo lo contrario."

It is more or less like the proof of a negative, or "to hell with reason..... I have faith"

Who will tell us the true story ?

In the end the real story that matters is none but our own.

"The optimist thinks that this is the best of all possible worlds, and the pessimist knows it."

~ J. Robert Oppenheimer

I for one would love to hear advanced statements that anyone here has found out. This is a public forum and if I learn something hear before another investor does it gives me an edge. That's why I pay an annual fee to be here.

Common Forthright - don't you have some advance info about some stock at all??? Give it up please.>>
