Yes indeed, you heard correct. The Starship Commander announced
with great pride that the first round of the Scottsdale Arizona
Invitational was won decisively by Bob Senior 9 holes to 4 holes
with 5 even. Senior posted a Western U.S. tournament record score
of 88 strokes on his way to the one sided win against the favored
Bob Junior who could only look on in disbelief and wonder as the
sweat poured off his neck in the 112 degree heat as he struggled
to make the round in 97 strokes despite his youthful 27 years age.
Unfortunately, Bob Senior announced there were so many pressing
subjects to discuss on Moneytalk for the weekend that he was not
certain there would be airtime to discuss the results of Sunday's
second round. As it turned out, he never found the airtime but
seemed quite pleased to discuss his double snowman 88. Could the
Senior tour be next? Just needs to find another stroke per hole!
