John,
A pardigm shift?

The first large income making opportunity was selling PCs and related hardware. After the companies buy the equipment, and people learn the basics they want the PC to do more. This makes the support work more complex as company IT people look for a way to meet the new demands. The new demands create the next large income opportunity in the PC business. Furnishing services that will meet the new demands.

Hareware will continue to evolve, but the real cutting edge may be getting the hardware and software do new things. Services?

Maybe I was out in the heat too long today. Does this make sense?
