I started with Suretrade, left them because the only traded in fractions. Went with Ameritrade and I have not been disappointed so far. For pennies you are required to phone in your orders which costs $18--- add an additional $5 for limit orders and the total cost for the transaction is $23.
This is a little more expensive per trade, but the up side is there is no limit to the number of shares per transaction. Some companies have an extra charge if you go over a set limit. Suretrade's limit was 5000 shares per order, if your order was larger than that they added $0.01 for every share--a 10,000 share order would cost $7.95 + 100.00. You could get around that by buying in 5000 share blocks, but you had to wait for one to execute before the other one could be placed for the same stock. Major pain in the caboose!
Unfortunately, all of my PRWT was purchased through Suretrade :(
