Maybe. All of the Genie's past profiles seem to have an certain odor about them. And all are, I believe, trading below where the Genie recommended them.

I'm not sure a reputable company would want to be associated with them. But the Genie does claim all its recommendations traded higher after they reviewed them. The effect seems to be decidedly short-term, however.

<<THE STOCK GENIE'S TRACK RECORD
In July of 1997 we profiled our first, Chromatics Color Sciences
(CCSI). Adjusted for a 3 for 2 split on 2/13/98, CCSI was $4.66 at the
time that we profiled it and has traded as high as $17.50 for a gain
of 276%>>
Their hype doesn't tell you that it's now under $6.

OCOM is indicated to open up 23%, at 7 5/8 bid, so it looks like the Genie has some power.

Stock Genie has a pretty big audience

Bidlow, you're right as evidenced by today's volume. Although less than half a million shares changed hands, it's the highest in 8 1/2 months. OCOM has been on the background of my radar screen, finally shorted it today.

Regards,

Tom
