That's interesting. I didn't know there was a distinction between deferred revenue and long term deferred revenue. Wouldn't surprise me if this long term deferred has a high probability of being uncollectible. My understanding was that any revenue which goes out longer than 12 months is not bookable revenue anyway so what's with this 12 month thing.

Can anyone explain what this thing is about the money being received from a financier. Maybe they either sold some receivables or else did some type of lease?

I think BAAN is doing some funny accounting anyway. I've thought this for some time now and this just confirms it even more.
