B,

I also believe that when Joe announced the buyback and dividend he was working with a set of circumstances that changed dramatically in the following months. DCI-Europe and CyberFax grew faster than projected and required large sums of money to facilitate the growth and the DataWave joint venture required an infusion of capital to complete that project. Bob Muller exercised his option to finalize the Muller Media acquisition. Things changed big time.

Best Regards

<<<THE shareholders of this company in a nut shell put the
pressure on Mr. Murphy to comply with YOUR demands,<<<

Excuse me????? My memory is certainly not all that good, but I don't recall anyone on this thread asking for, much less demanding, a dividend. In fact, most of us were perplexed by it altogether. I think we mostly saw it as a simple gesture. An expression of appreciation by Joe Murphy for stockholder loyalty. How did you come to the conclusion that shareholders demanded this of Joe? Was it a demand made by a group of large shareholders? Did they make this demand in the form of an initiative which was voted on by all shareholders? If not, they could make demands all day long and Joe wouldn't respond to it, I believe. Strange..........George E.

Re your comments as to what shareholders may or may not have demanded, for the record, I do not qualify as one of the shareholders of DCI that can get away with demanding anything, and my broker gobbled up what little of the dividend was sent my way. gggg.

So who was it who was being so demanding, and who was it who pushed the dividend? Inquiring minds want to know, but don't expect to get an answer. ggg.
