Hmmm... are you being sarcastic about Aristotle and his beliefs? Don't forget these beliefs were held by Western civilization (and Christianity embodied by the Catholic Church) for a very long time. These were pretty good theories until data started to refute them. The more interesting point is how they significantly affected Western thought.

You are absolutely correct with regards to why I made the query of your actions and deeds. But you did not answer the question. The act itself can often lead the heart. Perhaps compassion is like anything else - it must be learned, it requires practice, and few ever achieve perfection. If you are not the absolute best piano player in the world, should this preclude or dissuade you from playing the piano?
